Two hand Robot, R-15 Details
The R-15 robot is still under construction. Most of the motors are mounted, but the microcontrollers and sensors have yet to be installed and programmed. The aim of the project is to produce a two gripper tabletop robot that is capable of finding a can of liquid and pouring it cleanly into a glass. It will also be capable of talking and following voice commands. A face animation program has been completed which will allow it to produce animated facial expressions.
Planned details:
Mobility: 2 gear motors- jameco
Control: L293 Dual h-bridge and servo controllers
Processing: Picaxe microcontrollers (7?)
Sensing: Music wire whiskers.
IR proximity
Ultrasonic- long range.
Power: 7.6v LiIon, 12v NiMH battery
